Twilight Quotes

Thought I would do a Twilight Quote. my favorite quotes from each of the books.

Twilight: And so the lion fell in love with the lamb…What a stupid lamb. What a sick, masochistic lion. (Edward, Bella)

Twilight: Stupid, unreliable vampire. (Bella)
Twilight: So what you’re saying is, I’m your brand of heroin? (Bella)

New Moon: Could you… well, try to not be a… werewolf? (Bella)

Eclipse: You could kiss me, for example. I don’t mind if you want to use me to experiment. (Jacob)

Breaking Dawn: You nicknamed my daughter after the Loch Ness Monster? (Bella)

Eclipse: Sorry. I don’t have any leeches on my speed dial. (Jacob)

What some of you favorite quotes?

And So, the lion fell in love with the lamb... "What a sick, masochistic lion.." "What a stupid lamb..."

I have already read the Twilight series twice. I have picked up some other stuff to read but haven't been able to let go of the Cullens. I have put down the other stuff and started the saga again. Maybe I need therapy! HELP!! what to read next?!
I read the newspaper and pretend all the stories involve vampires in some sort of way like a conspiracy..I totaly lost it.....

Millions have read Stephenie Meyer’s young adult series “Twilight,” making the vampire sub-genre one of the most popular to read. But what do you read after ‘Twilight’? Several authors have previously written young adult vampire novels, but ultimately these titles either went out-of-print or to the backburner. Meyer and her “Twilight” creation have catapulted the vampire sub-genre into the sunlight. These older novels are now being republished and new authors are emerging into the spotlight. The young adult section of bookstores is now crammed full of single-title and series vampire novels.

If you are looking for a new series, this list provides five of the most up-and-coming vampire series in the young adult section.

Amelia Atwater-Rhodes writes the incomparable Den of Shadows series. The books were first published a few years ago, but have recently come back into the spotlight. The characters in the books are all connected to each other in one way or another. The villain in one can be the hero in another and with Atwater-Rhodes gritty descriptions makes her hidden vampire world come alive.

Books in the series: In the Forests of the Night, Demon in My View, Shattered Mirror, Midnight Predator

House of Night series by P.C. & Kristen Cast: This series introduces Zoey Redbird, a normal girl whose world changes forever when she is Marked as a fledgling vampyre. But Zoey is no ordinary fledgling- she has been Marked by the vampire Goddess Nyx and as her powers grow so does the darkness around her. Zoey and her vampire friends must combat their way through the growing dissent at the House of Night and fulfill their destinies as the Goddess Nyx’s champions.

Books in the series: Marked, Betrayed, Chosen, Untamed, Hunted, Tempted (Oct 2009)

Mortal Instrument trilogy by Cassandra Clare has been hailed as “a story world I would love to live in” by Stephenie Meyer. Witnessing a murder changes Clary Fray’s life when she encounters the Shadowhunters- warriors determined to rid the world of demons while keeping the vamps and werewolves in line. Pulled into a world she doesn’t understand with suddenly blossoming powers, Clary has to make her way careful through webs of deceit and misdirection.

Books in the series: City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead is “a dark and compelling world” according to author Gena Showalter. Lissa Dragomir is a Moroi princess, a mortal vampire tied to the earth’s magic. She is protected at all costs from the immortal vampires known as Strigoi. Her best friend Rose has dedicated her life to protecting Lissa, but after two years of hiding they are caught and dragged back to St Vladimir’s Academy, the place they ran away from in the first place. Now the girls must find their way through this treacherous world filled with temptation and mortal peril.

Books in the series: Vampire Academy, Frostbite, Shadow Kiss, Blood Promise (Aug 2009)

The Immortals series by Alyson Noel is a new series that tells the story of Ever, a misfit who was the sole survivor of an accident that killed her entire family. Now living with her aunt, she is combating survivor’s guilt and the disturbing new ability to hear other people’s thoughts. Her days of hiding from the world end when she meets Damen Auguste, the gorgeous and wealthy new kid who has the power to silence the voices in her head. The only problem is that she has no idea who he is, what he is, and now she thinks she’s falling in love with him.

Books in the series: Evermore, Blue Moon, Shadowland (Jan 2010)

Not again...!

In a new interview with Allure, Megan Fox once again says really stupid things. I don't know why she can't just turn down interviews. However, that might force me to look for something else to write about, and I'm not necessarily in the mood. She went off about somebody taking a topless photo of her with their cell phone, and said she'd like to cause that person "physical harm." I guess she doesn't know who leaked that photo, but I heard his name rhymes with Ryan Shmaustin Shmeen. She also complained about going to "Industry events" where "everyone blows sunshine up everyone else's ass." I don't know about sunshine, but I have had some things blown up my ass at a party. Fox doesn't like Industry gatherings because she thinks when people tell her that she's talented or that she's going to be a movie star, it sounds "forced or fake." Maybe she's smarter than I give her credit for.

How To Make Your Eyes Look Bigger

Step 1: Prepare

Apply foundation, concealer and translucent powder over the face to even out the skin tone before starting the look.

Step 2: Eyeshadow & eyeliner

To make your eyes look bigger and brighter, use a cream to powder eyeshadow in a pale, frosty colour and apply over the eyelids.

Work a medium grey eyeshadow into the creases of the eye sockets with a soft blending brush, making sure the lid itself is kept lighter.

Apply the grey eyeshadow along the lower lash line, winging it out beyond the eyes to make them look bigger.

Draw attention to your eyes with a clear sparkly liquid eye liner applied over the top eyelid and into the inner corners of each eye.

For extra drama, try a metallic black liquid eyeshadow applied along the upper lash line with an eye liner brush.

To make your eyes look whiter, use a white eyeliner pencil to draw a line along the inner rims of the lower eyelids.

Step 3: Mascara

Next, curl the eyelashes to really open up the eyes, making sure you get as close to the roots as possible, and emphasise the upper lashes with lots of black mascara, working the wand from root to tip

Put a ring pop on it!

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey celebrated their anniversary by renewing their vows, which I'm pretty sure they have now done like five times. I used to think they kept getting married for attention, but now I actually think it's because both of them are so stupid they keep forgetting they already did it.

Apparently Nick and Mariah share a love of candy Ring Pops, which isn't a big surprise if you've seen the size of Mariah's ass. For her anniversary gift, Nick gave her a custom-made "Ring Pop" ring. It was shaped and looked just like a Ring Pop but was made of white gold, diamonds, and pink sapphires.

It sounds expensive, which seems risky. I would never spend much money giving anything to Mariah that looked like food, except for food. That ring didn't stand a chance.

housekeepers "telling all."

Star magazine did a story on Hollywood housekeepers "telling all." The article claimed to reveal some "exclusive secrets" that would leave the reader shocked. Obviously I was excited to find out some jaw-dropping information.

Right after I called my housekeeper and gave her a sweet raise, I settled down to read the article. Apparently, Jay-Z and Beyoncé are "demanding." No kidding. Mariah Carey wanders around tipsy. Still waiting for a surprise. Jennifer Aniston likes to walk around in a bikini. Oh, that must be horrible for the cleaning lady. You'd have to force clothes on me if I looked like that.

I was getting pretty frustrated, but then I stumbled upon something that threw me for a loopty-loop. Britney Spears' former maid claims she once pulled a half-eaten burger from under the pop star's bed. Look under my bed and try to find a plate with anything but crumbs. At least Britney knows when enough is enough.
