Romantic spontaneity is hampered and stopped by a sea of pillows on the bed, so cull the pillow herd. Design a sensuous, uncluttered bed that you can fall into without a single care.

Change art portraying companionless figures, solitary flowers, and other lonesome subjects to twosome art: two people, flowers, or two anything that you like.

Get rid of some clutter in you closet, make some room for his stuff.

In Touch Weekly reported that Leann Rimes is "keeping her eye" on boyfriend Eddie Cibrian. She's apparently making visits to Eddie on the set of CSI: Miami while he works.

An "insider" told the magazine that she always follows him around the set to make sure he isn't flirting with other women, even though Eddie asks her to stay in his trailer.
I'm surprised she won't just stay where he asks. She seems like she'd be really comfortable in a trailer.
I think this is a case of what goes around comes around.

The Octomom

The Octomom held an interview with People magazine to mark the one-year anniversary of her giving birth to a litter of children. Her real name is Nadya Suleman, but who cares about that part?

She told People that one of her biggest challenges is "bonding with her babies." She needs the help of nannies, but wants to avoid the feeling that the kids are being raised in a "group home." I"m sure that's difficult since they are a large group being raised in a home.
She also said that she "doesn’t get much sleep," which I assumed was because she was 14 kids. But she went on to explain that she goes to the gym "in the middle of the night," several times a week.
What…a hot mess....

Will someone give Nicole "Coco" Austin her own beauty column already? Ice-T's wife is once again using her Twitter account to make the world a better place, this time by demonstrating how to properly apply makeup.

Behold, Coco preparing for a night on the town, in this Twit-pic that she recently posted because she's just that caring. Yes, it might seem odd for a woman to squat in the sink while putting on her face. But when one is serious about one's looks, one wants to get as close to the mirror as possible to see what one is doing. And in Coco's case, this method also allows her to showcase her massive behind. Which, along with sharing her wisdom with the world, seems to be her other great goal in life.
No question; this woman doesn't do anything half-assed.
I just have a question (well, I guess I have a few) : how did she get up there without falling? Was there ladder involve? Who brings the ladder in and out for her to climb? Does she still wear her stripper heels while climbing into the sink?

Maybe it's just me but I really do admire her artistic, climbing and balance abilities:)

Feng Shui your child room

It's a good idea to have family photos in you child room. Photos of parents and grandparents make children feel secure and  "watched over" at night.

Many "hyperactive" children are sleeping in bedrooms with bright red sheets, and walls full of action figures. Calm their bedrooms by replacing bright reds, blues, and yellows with warm pastels and deep rich tones, more tranquil. Bring in serene or happy art that isn't flying, falling, driving or running around the room.

Children are often very sensitive to mirrors. if your kids are not sleeping well, be sure to cover, or remove mirrors from their bedrooms.

Cheap but fun dates:)

keep it hot and fun between you and your man. You don’t have to spend allot of money. Here some ideas to spice it up keep it interesting. Pretend you are on the Bachelor show.


What follows are just some ideas — the key is to use your imagination, and you’ll be able to come up with a bunch of your own.


Picnic. I like to pack a basket with home-made sandwiches (really hearty, good ones with good bread), fruits, cheese, desserts, candies, wine, snacks and all the utensils and napkins. Find a great spot for the picnic — sunset is probably the most romantic time.

Home-cooked meal with candles. A specialty of mine. Even if you can only cook one thing well, you’ve got it made. Pasta or steaks are easy and sure bets. A good dessert tops it off well. The candles are a nice touch.

Massage. Get some scented massage oil. Do the entire body, starting with the head, down to the neck, the back, legs and feet. Skip the tempting areas (or at least save them for last) or the massage might not last long.

The beach. If you don’t have a beach, any other nice natural setting, like lake or river or mountain, will also work. You can pack a picnic, or just get some bathing suits and some beer and have a great time.

Festivals. Look in your local paper … you might find all kinds of festivals, from movies to dance to desserts and more. They cost very little, and they are a blast. Walk around, make jokes, sample everything.

Old movie marathon or any movie you like. Nothing’s more romantic than great old movies. Rent a bunch of them on DVD, pop some popcorn, get some candy, and watch them in your living room wrapped in blankets.

Window shopping. Walk around and look at stuff at some of your favorite stores — antique stores, used bookstores, unique clothing. Try stuff on. Make fun of stuff. Make it fun.

Watch meteors. Get a blanket and look up at the stars. It’s best if there’s a meteor shower — shooting stars are magical.

Play in the snow or water. If you’ve got snow, you’ve got magic. Otherwise, a pool or ocean or lake are also great ways to play. Playful is good. So is a little innocent physical contact. Roll around!

Museum.  Zoos are fun too. Also carnivals. Buy cotton candy.

Family barbecues a family gathering. Going to a wedding is also fun. Barbecues are great because there’s good food and it’s free! Also, if your family is a lot of fun, you’ve got free entertainment!

Sundaes. Delicious and fun. Share toppings.

Poetry reading. These can be a lot of fun, especially if you have a poem you can go up and read.  Then have some beers and watch the others. Poetry can be very romantic (unless it’s the angry kind, in which case it’s a lot of fun).

Again, you can probably come up with a million more of your own ideas. I hope these spark some good ones! And if you use any of these, you don’t have to give me credit, but do write to me to thank me if you get lucky.

The Bachelor= The Big Fake

Am I the only one who sees through what ABC is doing with Ali? Ali was never truly interested in Jake. I think the show’s producers asked her to come and play the game so that she could be set up as the next bachelorette. That scene when she called Jake was soooo fake. She wasn’t even sad or crying. It seemed all staged to me. Now she is doing her rounds with the daily talk shows…getting her stock up for the next bachelorette. Now there is a campaign for Ali to be the next bachelorette. It seems that the show creates characters for us to like so that we can get all excited about the next season (just as we did with Jake). While I don’t like Vienna, she does seem more into Jake than Ali did. He should have gone with Tenley, but I guess the stripper pole is more appealing than the ballet pole! Unfortunately, Jake does not seem to be the smartest dude in the class! He is making a decision based on sex appeal. While Vienna is not cute, she oozes sex appeal and he is drawn to her. Now I understand why this young, attractive, successful guy has managed to remain single all these years. He goes after the WRONG girls. While he does seem to be a nice guy, he will finish last again. This is the show I love to hate:)

This is the most effective and inexpensive (in my opinion) way to cleaning makeup brushes. Baby shampoo doesn’t disinfect and brush cleanser is to expensive for daily use, you do need to clean your brushes every time you use them. The supply is super easy and inexpensive: Antibacterial Dishwashing soap it will remove every single thing on your brush, it remove pigment, oil, dirt and also kills bacteria. Using the soap will dry the brush hair so to recondition you brush you going to use olive oil. Take a small plate and pour out small amount of the dishwashing soap and pour just a little oil mix , take your brush and stir in circular motion and wipe it back and forth on a tissue. You removing all pigment, killing bacteria and removing the makeup. Now you going to rinse your brushes use warm water NOT HOT. Squeeze until water is clear. Wipe them dry with a paper towel. Let them dry out on it’s side.

The In-laws are coming!

The in-laws are coming to dinner tonight. I will make a fabulous meal and dessert (will post later the recipes and pic) but to get to the point what an hassle and so much work... It's going to be a long night for me. Starting with the cooking, entertain,conversation, feeding my son and entreating him all the while trying to finish dessert and make Coffey, giving a bath to Ben, reading for him, finish the dishes and clean up, playing Ben fav Video and try to get him to go to sleep, they are still here?! What J is doing you asking yourself? not much of anything, except falling asleep on the sofa living me to do all the hosting for HIS family...what a lovely guy;) ( he really is, just clueless) does anybody feel my pain? I just needed to vent in advance.

why we frantically searching for love?

Sometimes it feels like we spending most of our life's searching for our other half. Yumtastic baked apples

Today it's raining, it put me in the mood for baked apples. Makes the house small so good....

Ingredients
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup splenda or sugar
6 same-size Granny Smith apples
2 tablespoons butter, cut into 6 teaspoon-size pieces
1 cup apple juice

Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Combine cinnamon, and sugar in a small bowl. Set aside.
Core apples, making sure not to puncture the bottom of the apples so that the juices will remain. Remove skin from 1/2-inch around top of apples at the opening. Fill each cavity with the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Top each apple with a teaspoon of butter. Place apples in casserole dish and pour apple juice around them. Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Remove from heat,and serve.
